I see that according to the cvr official website all the cvrdg diesels are no longer with us. I've read that 37009 and 20154 are at gc(n) and 20007 is at Butterley, but does anyone know where the rest have gone. Also slightly baffling is where has the 4vep unit gone did they own this as well? Hope someone knows. Thomas

Thomas, The diesels have indeed left to another railway. I do not know why, but note that they have also gone from Andy's website Maybe he knows ? The VEP is owned my one of the directors who has recently stood down ? Maybe that is the reason of it's illusiveness ? (Probably at oakamoor somewhere) I also notice that 47524 and the 25 have gone back down south ? Very odd as there was so much talk at the Diesel gala of Tamworth Castle being restored ? Anyone shed Any light on this ? An up side is that from Mr Gibson's pictures I see work is again apace with the other S160, maybe the owner has shoved the diesels out the way so he can get on with that lump. Maybe we will see that in 15 years running a service train only to be loaned out to another big line railway to bugger it up and never return ! Some things never change -shed space for a kettle but never for the paraffin cans eh? Guard.
