Calling all you old sweats out there.

I was talking to friend a couple of weeks ago and we were on about apprenticeships and working your way up from the bottom. You were the lowest of the low and open to all sorts of abuse and pranks by your old work colleagues.

We started talking about the various leg-pulls that your older work colleagues would set you up on and I thought that it might be a good thread to run.

So, come on, don’t be shy, we all fell for them, what set-ups did you fall for in your naïve younger days.

For a starter of ten how about being sent to the local hardware shop for some Glass Nails, or over to the stores for a Bucket of Steam or a Long Wait!

I remember being sent to the metal stores to ask for a big weight it was almost an hour before it sunk in that it was a big wait. Thomas

Another time I was sent to the supervisor to ask for a hand with a job, they all stood around and clapped. Thomas

Thanks Thomas, I am sure there are many more examples out there but perhaps people are too shy to admit they got caught. It what made men out of boys and would probalby condemned as some sort of abuse in todays world.
