I see the oap-way gang has started the first part of of replacing the wornout track north of Consall today, they started at 9-00am and knocked off about 6-00pm. What I want to know is why they were not supplied with arc lamps to finish the job today. They will be to knackered to finish it tomorrow. Thomas

What with Cherry Eye the Chedd turnout and now this slick rail change the jobs are getting bigger, about time chairman 'H' started handing out a campaign medal.

We could do with some more rails being bought so that they can finish the job before the next season starts. Then the siding at Ched could be finished, the new diesel siding at Ched, then the upgrading of the line to Okamoor. We'll keep um busy and out of the road. Thomas

I see that the P-Way are up to their old tricks again, leaving the Ched siding, the up grading of the Oakamoor line, the speed restriction to start a new project, the diesel road extension. Will they ever finish anything? Thomas

Ho Ho Ho , Can you belive that 2 more jobs have been added to the unfinished list for the OAP gang, putting concrete in the engine shed and extending the siding at Froghall. I think they need to order a boiler first, a backboiler to put all their jobs on. Roll on Leekbrook they may get round to it in 10 years time.

Well surprise, surprise. They have started the diesel road extension, it should solve the shortage of space for storing stock. I believe that the track is being laid directly on the trackbed,no ballast, on on top of sand, with concrete sleepers lets see how long it lasts without sinking or washing away. Thomas.

5/05/2006 Spotted on a train Bob B. with a automatic level, staff and tripod (for surveying) was overheard saying that despite his best efforts he could not find anybody with a level head.

I've heard that the OAP Way gang have had to pay for the Mini Digger they used over the weekend themselves,as the railway would not pay for one. do they expect a siding for nothing? .Well done lads, hope it's finished shortly. Thomas.
