It was the annual Forties/War gathering this weekend and I went along with my video camera to record a few items. I have managed to extract a few 'stills' from the video footage which are shown here. Apologies for the poor quality. Also many thanks to the people in the photos who I was unable to ask permission to show these. I hope they find pleasure in seeing them too. At Cheddleton;- A new consignment of POW's arrive to be ushered to the camp. "Can I see your papers please ladies?" The Army game;- "Hang on I'll just go throw that photographer in the dungeon" "Oh how I wish the war would end...." "Now where's that stupid boy got to!" "Right men, follow me" And a little light music from our resident trio The Androol Sisters "Never mind love, the war will soon be ended and we will be together again" "Hey Porter! Can you give me a hand with my luggage?" "I bet that Mr Mainwaring will be angry when he see what I've done blowing up the bridge." I haf been told to vait in da Lost Luger Department. At Froghall;-

Welcome to the forum Galleys Bank. Thanks for the notification. That link does work, but Revver has always been an unreliable host. I uploaded it to vimeo a while ago but didn't update the link on here so try this one;- vimeo.com/3039822Best regards
