I have created a little add-on for Google Earth that will show the Stoke branch of the MCR extension and also show clickable icons that open up windows to allow the viewing of photographs taken at the point selected.
It requires you to have Google Earth installed on your computer.
If you don't have this, it is worth getting it (free from www.google.com/earth/download/ge/agree.html) and will be useful for showing progress as it goes along.
Assuming you DO have GE, just click on the link below and your PC will probably ask you whether to open it in Google Earth (if you have it installed) or to save it to your computer.
If you decide to save the file somewhere on your PC, kick up Google Earth, then OPEN this file in it.
Click on FILE > OPEN -- then locate the file <Stokeextension.kml>
It should then display the Stoke branch with little camera icons along the route. They will all appear all cramped together initially as the default zoom level will be to show the whole track, so zoom in a bit until you see them separated then click on one to see the box with photos listed. Click on the descriptive text to see each photo.
Hopefully when work is progressing along I can update it to add more photos and eventually, when the line is complete I can show the 'before' and 'after' shots.
There is an information window which can be opened by clicking on the red i icon against the title name.
So save this link below to try at occasional intervals to see what updates have appeared.
Hope you can follow all this, If you want help let me know by PM.
