I see that the communications about the activities on the CVR have gone downhill recently, the offical web site has not been updated for 4 weeks in what should be the busiest time of the year. If we want to get more visitors, (not particulary local ) then how better to get it across than an updated website. If it is so out of date people will think nothing of interest is going on there and we could miss out . Also no communication from the new electronic newsletter what is going on with the railway? Thomas

Hi Thomas,
Basically and with great hope, that is what I started this Forum for... to enable more frequent postings of breaking news and items that would take much longer to feed through into the official website.
Sadly it seems no one on the official site wants to know or have anything to do with this Forum, despite some occasional 'promises' to get involved.
I call upon the reluctant CVR officials and volunteers to pay us a visit and maybe let us know more about what is happening.
It's much simpler than even writing an e-mail to post on this site. And it's much nicer looking than a formal e-mail too! :-)
Barry
